Goodby, Silverstein & Partners began their campaign to help increase the sales of dairy products in the state of California. They began by releasing a commercial in which a history nerd is sitting at home listening to the radio while eating a peanut butter sandwich. When the radio station asks who killed Alexander Hamilton and the guy knows, he can't answer because he's out of milk and the peanut butter sandwich makes his words inaudible. Commercials have not only used wit but also incorporated fame. There is one with Bugs bunny for example. The list of famous people that have endorsements with got milk? is absolutely ridiculous. Heidi Klum, Alex Rodriguez, Lebron James, Elton John, Alex Trebek, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, Tony Hawk, The Dixie Chicks... and the list goes on and on. With 90% recognition in the United States, I think that says enough. The phrase has been strewn across billboards, t-shirts, hats, and tons of other logowear. Take the link below to check out the website of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to check out all of their commercials. You can see all of the old ones as well as the new Da Iry campaign. Grab a cookie, drink milk.

Play around a little bit. It's pretty easy to find. You'll want to find the picture in the collage that is the got milk? campaign for starters and I think you can figure it out from there.
